While these should be wide-ranging views on a variety of topics, they will likey revolve around movies, technology, gadgets and the Green Bay Packers.

Whew...

That was a close one. Got a call from my brother during the last minute and we were able to celebrate! Sitting on top of the NFC North - need to shore up the defense.

First Half Impressions

After cleaning the garage this morning, I'm having a pretty good afternoon watching the Pack. They looked very good on offence but need some consistency on D. I'm hopeful the testing on A. Green is negative and we see him in the second half.

Second half starting in a few. Man it gets dark early these days - cloudy and rainy doesn't help.

Watched Ali G Indahouse last night - had some funny parts.

And now, back to the game...

Guzzlefish

Do you have many DVD's, CD's, games? If you want to track them in a database, consider using http://www.guzzlefish.com. I have looked for apps and websites to do this for years. There are lots of options, few that are truly useful and even fewer that are maintained. Then I found Guzzlefish (yea, silly name but I got over it). This is a well designed site for tracking your media as well as a good discussion board.

I found this site in the spring of '04 and all was right with the world for a while. Then the dark months - no database updates. This is typically the problem with sites and apps like this. Even though it is free, you become reliant on the content etc. The one area that kept me and others coming back was the forum. It was entertaining and informative (to an extent as to the status of the site) and I checked back a few times a week.

Well, over the last few days they got an update to the database. The only question now is will it remain consistent over time... In the meantime check it out - and have fun.

Getting Started

ok, let's hit it.
